The Haven has 2 bedrooms, but don't let that put you off. The rooms downstairs would make ideal extra bedrooms (one is currently a gym). There is potential to have 4 or even 5 bedrooms, or 4 bedrooms with a large ensuite.
We were going to put a hot tub in the potential ensuite room at one time. The idea was to make the room like a big wet room with tiles floor, wall and ceiling. Showers out of the ceiling and heated seating all round the outside.
The window would be replaced with french doors so they could be opened during evening soaks in the tub. But by having it built into the foundations of the house and the rocks of the hillside, the insulation would have helped keep the running costs down. And, we could have had a few more of life's luxuries, like screens, music, mood lighting and a drinks cabinet, which is a bit more difficult outside. Ain't it lovely to dream?
We had years of holidays in hotels, cottages and forest cabins with hot tubs and hot tubbed ourselves to death. This is why it didn't happen and the project was shelved. Would have been fun though. Sorry, I digress again.
Main Bedroom: is 12 x 12. Bedroom 2 is 12 x 9.

Things have disappeared in here, never to be seen again, it's like a porthole to another dimension. So don't say I didn't warn you - ok?
Okay, on that basis, I have been pursuaded to show you a couple of pictures. At least with our room you can see the other side, but this is a teenagers bedroom. Have you got one of those? Mind is just 18. Queue 'Jaws' music, da, da, da, da, da, da, da,da......
Potential for Extra Bedrooms
The downstairs rooms are 12 x 12, with a 12 x 4 porch, and the inner room is 15 x 12. Currently both unrealized fully, except for the makeshift gym.
The best part is these rooms downstairs would not need any planning permission as they are already inside the house. You'd only need that if you planned to make the property bigger. The place is no where near its maximum permitted development yet, so if you wanted to expand toward the rear of the property, with rooms or a conservatory, there should be no objections at all.
